2012 is ending on a fantastic note for us...we sold our first house back in November and bought a new, bigger house! With a brief 2 weeks and 2 days of living with my dad, we closed on our new house December 12th. Just in time for Christmas! We are absolutly loving the space...the new house is double plus some of our old house :) 4 Bed, 2 1/2 bath, living room, family room, playroom, loft and more. Its perfet for us!! It seems to be taking forver to get things exactly how we want them, but thats ok.
Pics of the inside coming soon!

Mia's allergic reaction
The poor girl broke out in hives and by day 3 when we went to the Dr. they were covering about 90% of her body and the reaction had gotten so bad/deep that she started getting what looked like sever bruising and her fingers/toes turned blue! Very scary for sure!! A week of steroids and a stronger antihistimine took care of that, but now she is on another antibiotic to hopefully finally knock out the sinus infection that started it all!

Pumpkin Patch
Lillian has her first field trip with school next week to a pumpkin patch. Since her and I get to do that together, Brayden, Mia and I went together to a different pumpkin patch while Lillian was at school one day. We had a good time, All of us went on a hayride and played on a giant hay stack. and then Brayden went on a small pumpkin train and a giant jumping pillow...Brayden then picked out 2 small pumpkins to bring home.

neglected blog!
Wow I have really neglected this blog! Ooops! Ok so let me update on everything thats happened....
Mia: July 23rd My mom came for a visit, we spent the day doing fun things (now I cant really remember exactly what we did) that evening, we all went out to dinner as usual when she visits..we came home and Mia had fallen asleep so I laid her on our bed...something I often did since she shares our room. She usually cries when she wakes up..so when she cried after waking up I went to get her...the poor girl was on the floor! I picked her up feeling very bad and she continued to cry inconsolably, I checked her all over and did not see any signs of injury so I continued to just try and console her thinking she was just over tired and hadn't been ready to wake up. She cried for an hour and 1/2 so I gave her Tylenol thinking maybe the new teeth she was getting were causing pain and thought I would go ahead and put her back to bed. Before she went back to bed I finally got her to let me put her down for a couple mins to play and we realized she would not crawl!! I took her into daddy who was laying down watching tv to cuddle before bed and he said she wasn't using her left arm at all for anything! Oh no! We thought maybe she just twisted when she fell or something and she was also still very tired so I went ahead with bedtime. The next morning she woke up at 6am...still not using her left arm :( I called the dr. when they opened at 8am and they said they would see her at 9am. Saw the dr and he sent us to the hospital for xrays...my poor baby's arm was broken!!! We were then sent to the Peyton Manning children's hospital and came home with a pink cast for 4 weeks :( Mia since had the cast removed and I think she has forgiven mommy for putting her on the bed for a nap. Lesson learned!
Brayden: Just a few days after Mia's injury, Brayden turned 3! We had a party for him at my dads house and the kids had a really great time swimming and playing with their friends. Nanny made an awesome lightning McQueen cake for Brayden and he got some awesome presents. I think so far one of his favorites is a big boy bike from grandpa. Not kidding when I say we have to go outside to ride it every single day :) I can't believe it has been 3 years since this little guy came into our lives! There is never a dull moment with this goofball. Pretty soon he will be starting a parent and me soccer class too! He is so excited! He has wanted to take a soccer class ever since Nanny bought him a soccer ball several months ago :)
Lillian: Oh my sweet 5 yr old! Despite my efforts to stop time, time kept ticking and the day came where it was time to send my baby, my first born, off to the biggest adventure of her life! Kindergarten! She was very exited to start and ride the bus and do all the things that big kids do. We are now 3 weeks in and she still loves it, but I think she sometimes misses being home more. She has a little trouble switching gears when she gets home...she is tired...but everyone else is very excited that she is home so we are still working out the kinks on that.

Our son the piggy bank!
Brayden gave us quiet a scare this past week. On Wednesday we had been spending time at grandpas swimming, cooking out, having a great time until we got in the car and things took a scary turn. I am driving down the road and suddenly hear him gagging..I turn around and see him vomiting! At first glance I think he is just sick to his stomach. He would not stop crying and continued to vomit several times...all the while I am asking him a ton of questions just to find out what was wrong. He finally manages to tell me he has swallowed a COIN! Not knowing where he got it, what size of it or anything I call 338-KIDS..a local 24/7 nurses line...explained what the situation was and they advise us to go to the Emergency Room! So Brayden and I head that way..by now it has been 20 mins of vomiting/crying/screaming. We get to the ER parking lot and he vomits once again....this time..bringing up the coin! A QUARTER!! He seemed to immediately feel better, a did I! We did not even have to make it into the ER doors thank goodness!! He has since been fine and I believe all the kids learned a very valuable lesson from that night!
Month in Review
Wow it has been a long time since I have updated this! We have done a lot of fun things over the past month! We went to touch-a-truck at the mall where the kids got to climb on/in some everyday favorites they see on the streets. Brayden was pretty excited, Lillian on the other hand..was still a little timid and scared of the noise.
Lillian also FINALLY decided she was ready to try swimming w/o any type of floatation device..of course if she tries something, Brayden needs to also..or so he thinks. Now, after some practice, both kids are swimming underwater by themselves from the side of the pool about 5 feet in and back. Lillian can go a bit further if she really tries. Exciting and exhausting stuff! Exhausting b/c now that is all they want to do and since they need help...that means no relaxing for mom and dad.
Lets see..now on to 4th of July. Boy was it super hot that day! We spent the morning relaxing at home and playing in the kids pool while daddy went to see a movie. After he was back, we went to the Noblesville Parade. I think we made it about an hour out in the heat and then decided to call it quits. We then went home and ordered pizza, played for a bit and headed back out to watch fireworks at the highschool. The weekend following the 4th we went to Terre Haute for a cookout and spent the night with Mikes mom. The kids were excited to spend the night with Nanny :)
Not much happened between the 4th and now as far as big activities...we have done a lot of swimming, playing with friends, making new friends and just enjoying the summer before Lillian starts school full time in August.
