Before

We had a busy weekend, My dad came over and helped Mike install a new wtaer heater, Mike bought a new TV and b/c the new TV was bigger then the old..I got to buy a new piece of funiture! While setting all this up, Mike attempted to do some touch of painting to the wall...and due to a color matching fail, we decided on an all new color. I tried to go for a dark blue..like a shade lighter then Navy...I was disappointed I did not end up with the desired color so now I am kind of missing the green. Oh well...maybe I will get a new house soon and get a re-do!

Hair cut!

Last night Mike let the kids cut his hair...good thing he doesnt have much to cut! He is a brave soul!

Last week was a busy week, Lillian and Brayden both came down with a cold, luckily was not too bad, but then Mia and Mike got it and they weren't doing so great. Mia's right eye got goopy so we had to get an antibiotic ointment for that and Mike was pretty miserable :( So far I have been pretty lucky to not catch it.
Last Thursday we had our first house showing, that was a busy day. We had Cailin here also so I spent the morning cleaning and running errands after dropping Lillian off at school, boy is keeping the house in perfect condition and getting 4 kids up from nap and out the door on time a challenge! Turns out it was kind of a waste of time b/c the viewers did not like the floor plan. Oh well. Sunday, we also had an open house. I guess 3 people came, but 2 were neighbors (interesting!) and 1 other. Mike and I decided we are kind of weirded out by people we do not know coming into our house when we are not home. So I felt the need to come home and immediatly clean the toilet and lysol! We'll see what this week holds!

Cake=Love

We do not usually celebrate Valentines day, we feel we should show eachother we love and care for eachother all year, which we do. However, I still like to make cutesy crafts with the kids and have an extra excuse to not cook and eat treats. So instead of wasting money on cards and little gifts, we just enjoyed the day by getting our favorite lunch (McDonalds), playing in the snow, doing crafts and then went out to dinner as a family. The night before, I kept asking Mike to take us to DQ for some ice cream...he kept saying "we can get that tomorrow" Little did I know he had plans to come home and suprise me with an ice cream cake! Yummy! The funniest part of the day though was little miss Mia fitting into her older sisters Valentines day shirt from her first Valentines day...it was a 12mo size shirt..Lillian was 9mo when she wore it....Mia...3 1/2 mo!!

My first post!

Hello All, Thanks for checking out my blog! I decided to create this to keep family and friends updated on the happenings of The Wrights...if anyone cares lol and For something for me to do while the kids nap. I have turned into a blog stalker myself and enjoy reading the blogs of others..so I thought..eh why not make one too! Sooo...here we go!

Lets see...we'll just start of in Feb. So much has happened so far this month and its only 1/2 way in...
We decided we need more space, so we're attempting to sell our house..man..getting it ready for that was no easy task! Packing/cleaning...re cleaning after the kids destroyed it...ahhh.

After we got the house listed, we had to moe on to the next order of business..finding the new kitty we promised Lillian since we re-homed her dog. I spent a couple weeks checkin out shelters online, craigslist etc and after 2 visits to the shelter and playing with 4 cats, we settled on this guy ......
He is such a sweet, fun kitty!So great with the kids.He has been a fantastic addition to the family. He sure doesn't eat any less then the dog did, but he does not take as much time as she did...so I'm happy...and he entertains the kids...so another helpful bonus for me! Took a while to name the sweet guy...we finally settled on Kwazi...that seems like a good match to go with Dante (who is finally, after a week starting to come around..very slowly!)
